What are we picking today

Happy New Year to everyone.  Looking forward to a great new year.
Spent last few days finishing up pruning and training of Kiowa blackberries. Will be preparing another 280 foot of row for planting additional blackberry plants. Putting in Osage (which we already have) plus a new variety called Caddo. Both are thornless with a high sugar content.
The farm had a year end rainfall total of 39.56 in.  Average is 43.00 inches. May need to start irrigating  peaches and blackberries.
From  mid November thru Dec 31 we have had 510 chill hours.…very good start on chill hours. Blackberries need 350 to 450 chill hours.  Our peaches and plums need 600 to 800 hours.
Need a very good rain.
Will give farm update the end of January
Call or email us if you have questions.
Thank you
Steve and Carole Huebner

What are we picking today

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and are now getting in the Christmas mood.
We still have a good selection of Fraser Firs, in most sizes. But we only have a couple of 9-10 ft. and 8-9 ft. sizes left. We suggest you come Friday or Saturday for best selection, or Sunday — but when they’re gone, that’s all we’ll have.

We are completely out of our in-field trees, the Leyland Cypress and Virginia Pines.
Carole has decorated wreaths, ready to purchase, and can take special orders. Give her a call at 903-344-1132.
